2 years ago, I would have been ashamed to admit that this is what i look like naked.
I would much rather have shaved my head than be seen with no clothes on.
I dont know why i was so insecure? But i remember always thinking that everytime someone stared at me it was because i was ugly or fat or had something wrong with me.
When in all honesty people stare.
Its what we do, Regardless of what we look like.
Were always unintentionally observing the world and the people around us.
So over the years i have learnt that no matter where you are or what you look like, you will never be able to please everyone.
People will always stare and they will always judge you.
But keep in mind that the people out there who think your unattractive or ”ugly” will feel more comfortable to tell you the negatives. Compared to the people who admire you, they will more than likely always keep it to themselves.
Which is why we always seem to doubt ourselves.
So just because someone doesnt tell you they think your beautiful, doesnt necessarily mean they think your ugly.
Someone will always be thinner
or prettier
or funnier
or smarter
OR ALL OF THE ABOVE.
So why spend our lives trying to win an impossible battle?
You will never win.
Its taken me 20 long and painful years, but ive finally learnt to stop complaining and live my life with what ive been given.
Because in all honesty a life spent wishing is a life spent wasting.

Incredible that at 20 she’s getting this, taken me a fair while longer!

Super stormy day at work- this is much before the worst of it, but I didn’t get any pics of the peak. I’d forgotten to charge my phone and due to the power cut (that was due to the storm) my phone died just at this moment.

The whole building shook as the waves hit.
